Reclaiming 'old', b...Yes, yes, triple yes!! Reclaiming 'old', being "an activist of 'old' ." I think I am one of those, too.<br />I'm also an activist for the Earth. And to me, these two forms of activism are deeply connected. It's the wise elders whose task it is to make sure that the impetuosity, inexperience and novelty-seeking of youth do not jeopardise the sustainability of our lifestyles on this planet. It is not hard to see the correlation between our culture's disregard for the old and its disregard for the environment.
